Show 930 – Tartan – 16th April – Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue

A house of ill repute in Edinburgh

When two puritans, Patrick and Fred, are sent into ‘Marie’s House of Ill Repute’ – they are supposed to be undercover agents, working for the church to shut the place down.

But when they get inside they become smitten by two of the ladies in there – Maggie and Hettie. Even more surprisingly, the feelings between them grow quickly into love.

What will the Reverend Stephen make of it – and the same goes for Marie, who runs the place. Is there room for love in a house of ill repute?
