A weight-loss club

The reverend Marcus opens his church hall every Wednesday at 7pm for the weight loss club, run by him and his friend Penny. Regulars include surly Jerome, the inseparable Robert and Rebecca and former front-cover model for a famous weight-loss magazine Emily.

They have all been coming for weeks, supporting each other through their successes and failures. But then one week the evil Mr Whippy drives into town and no one can resist him. The club collapses, recriminations fly and the group of friends is torn apart. But they all realise after a while that the one thing they can’t do without is each other…
