Show 866: Knitty Gritty – 8th August – Edinburgh Festival Fringe

The basement of a knitting shop in St Kilda, Australia

Pearl Pearl runs the knitting shop with her two married friends Wanda and Mary. Pearl has never had a man and is not particularly interested in having one, especially not recovering alcoholic Troy. But Troy falls madly in love with her and with support from his friend Ladykiller Terence and Robbie (who is bound for the priesthood) he will try to get his life back on track and perhaps earn the right to ask for Pearl’s affection.
