Senor desperately wants his son Thomas to follow the family tradition and stay with his circus. But it’s 1921, and Thomas dreams of being a mechanic on one of those new-fangled cars. So he sets out on an adventure that sees him becoming a cheese factory worker, a waiter, an astronaut and a surgeon. But when his former girlfriend Marie dies in a trapeze accident, her ghost calls him back to the big top…
