Show 428: If I Were in Richmond, 25th May, The Rose Theatre, Kingston

Richmond Park and Environs – The Iron Age

Winslow is an orphan, and not very good at stuff – can’t swim, scared of deer. His rivalry with orphan brother Felix, overseen by fertile village elder Ira, produces a tragicomic fertility story featuring a pagan dance-off, a Pina Bausch / Bob Fosse mash-up, A Lion King duet, and Lucy Trodd as ‘Lucy Trodd’ in a homage to Spamalot’s lamenting diva.
