A Sinking Submarine

It’s the middle of the cold war. One of the most famous and battle-worn US submarines – the USS Invincible – sinks to the bottom of the ocean, with the two remaining sailors, trapped and in an apparently hopeless situation, remember the story of how they got there. From naval training college, to the excitement of crewing such a famous ship, to the slow realisation that something was wrong, to the revelation of their ultimate betrayal by the most senior officers.
Their ‘routine reconnaissance mission’ turned out to be a cunning Soviet plan to bring about the ultimate American humiliation by smuggling the body of Abraham Lincoln to Russia…
