Show 790: The Hells Are Alive – 13th January – Oxford Playhouse

Oxford University and Hell
When Dark Lord Beelzebub puts junior devils Trevor and Marcia in direct competition ( the winner gets a set of steak knives, the loser is consigned to the Ninth Circle Of Eternal Damnation ), he sets into motion a morality tale writ large on the streets of Oxford itself. Featuring the Sondheimian “Let The Games Begin”, a rare excursion into “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”, and a La Boheme – inspired set – piece set in Oxford’s very – own “Purple Turtle”.
