Show 650: Bricking It – 24th October, Apollo Theatre, London

The Guernsey Lego factory

Brick-builder Tom falls in love with Yolanda, the Lego designer on secondment from Denmark, she asks him to move back to Denmark with her. When he is there, he discovers the shocking news that his real father had been Mr Lego, creator and owner of all of Lego. Tom takes over control of the empire and runs it like the aggressive capitalist he imagines his father had been. He starts to lose touch with the values of a Guernseyman – a love of tomatoes, cows and Victor Hugo. Will he rediscover his roots before he loses his friends – and his wife?

Inexplicably, this one had a lot of vampires in it.
