Show 554: Bridge Over the River Severn, 5th March, Stourport Civic

When Lauren leaves her husband Jerry and takes up with rival fisherman William, the infamous Curse Of the Canal is unleashed. Will Stourport basin ever see lobesters again? Will the annual Arley – to Stourport raft – race ever see a winner again? And can John the local taxi driver give any advice?

In this romantic comedy, hearts are won and broken as the three boys try to woo the three girls.

But then everything is thrown into chaos in the second half when Mandy is adopted by the lonely but gentle Snoop Dogg, who needs a star for his latest music video…
