An Oil Rig off the coast of Stavanger, Southern Norway, and the local dock-side bar.

‘In a semi – homage to ‘On The Town’, three rig workers find their loyalties tested by the ever-changhing affections of Mo – in particular Tony, who has selfishness issues. Bar-lady Laura offers advice, the oil-rig explodes, and the seagulls have their say as well. Featuring helpful phrases in actual Norwegian courtesy the lovely Mo I Rana audience, and a cracking extended solo for our wonderful percussionist Alex Atty.

Interesting fact – this show was set where the final scene of the final episode ever of the Danish TV show ‘the Killing’ takes place.
