Hruthgar has been chosen to be the new King of Glass-gow, but he must choose a Queen to spend his year with before he is sent out to sea on a burning boat. His true love, Kandar, can’t bear to see him die and refuses to acknowledge him as king, so he banishes her and marries Rosalie. A year in power and the village is ruined, his wife is dead, and he stands on a boat, ready to be burnt. But the hammer of Thor and the rock in the sea come into play – will Hruthgar and Kandar burn brightly at last?
