Josephine, the first female trainer, and her jockey Braithwaite, have made Red Rum the most successful horse in the country. But her desire to be the best drives Braithwaite to an untimely chariot related death. The Jockey Club and her lover Simpson reject her, so she rides Red Rum off into the sunset, but will they stop at the white cliffs of Dover, or just keep going?
