The brilliant Dr Margaret Hapshat runs a Seattle animal hospital along with her daughter Betty and Betty’s boyfriend Stan.

Perfectionist Margaret is very harsh with Stan, and he starts to think he has made a mistake moving from the East coast of the US until one day Margaret and Stan finds themselves working alone and they discover a burning passion. Betty suspects something is going on, Stan is confused and Margaret, as with everything, thinks she is doing the right thing.
