The Lord of Avalon’s daughter, Lady Angharad, is bored of her courtly life despite the company of her tapestry-obsessed handmaids Lady Millicent II and Lady Clarinda II, Earl of the Duchess of the Lords of the Lake.

But when ambitious knight Lucius Pendragon and his henchman Skip come to seek the hand of Lady Angharad, he proves to be shallow and vain. She flees her courtly life, dresses as a man and becomes known as Galavad, one of the finest warriors in the kingdom, even being invited to the elite Knights in White Satin.
