Clarissa and Darleen have been in jail for 25 years for strangling a badman: Two-Neck Nellie. It took all four of their hands. But now as the parole hearing comes up, they have a chance to prove they are fit to re-enter society – a new intern, idealist Herbert, is running rehabilition arts and crafts c0urses for the prisoners. But as the parole day approaches, we discover secrets – about Herbert, about Clarissa’s lost child and about the true identity of Two-Neck Nellie.
