Show 742: Ticket to Ride – 23rd July, The Great Yorkshire Fringe, White Rose Rotunda (evening)

A Park and Ride
Married couple Rita and Gavin run York’s Park and Ride (last bus 8pm – because no one needs to be in York late). The story starts when Rita realises that she is utterly bored by her life and her husband. She starts an affair with her best friend Betty’s husband Gavin – eventually it all blows up in public and they all have to face each other.
Can the unfortunate four learn a lesson from bus-driver Olive and Martin the Blacksmith (who works exclusively in silver) – they have found happiness at the age of 76 and 82 respectively – or is it time to get a ticket to ride out of each others’ lives?
