A subway train in New York trapped between two stations

When six people end up trapped in a subway carriage, they discover to their surprise that they are all connected: several are friends, and three pairs of them had failed relationships in the past – and none of them have managed to find happiness since. In this mysterious tale, they are forced to confront their loneliness, find friendship in the dark and ask the question: why is the rest of the train empty and who is the driver?
