A bat cave on a grand estate outside Chicago

Gladys Wang is married to Mr Wang, who inherited his father’s estate and also his precious bat cave, source of some of the rarest bats in the world. He is so obsessed with his father’s legacy that he cannot see she is becoming utterly estranged. Her assistants persuade her to dress as Batman in a masque ball and he falls in love with her, she is torn between despising his apparent infidelity and wanting to be loved by him. Then he goes to the Chicago Institute of Science and takes a potion that turns him into a half-man, half-bat and all hell breaks loose…
