Show 421: The Life of Brine, 18th Feb 2013, Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room

A musical set in a pickle jar. Yes, you read that correctly. A pickle jar.

The Princess of this pickle kingdom leaves with her lower-status heart-throb Jeremy Jenkins to join the free society of the French courgettes – Les Legumes Superieure.

But her departure from the restrictive society of the pickle jar sparks a revolution. The vinegar workers rise up and dethrone the king, forcing him to work cleaning the bottom of the jar.

Will the Princess return to her people and save her father from slavery? But if she does, will she even want to undo the changes towards a more egalitarian society?
