Griselda and David, and their three offspring, have gone to the Latitude Festival, despite their crumbling marriage. Three Australians are waiting to see their hero, Adam Ant. Melinda has a thing for older men and after a chance meeting with David in the poetry forest accompanied by a strange performance poet, it seems love is blossoming. But Adam Ant’s post-concert words touch his heart and he realises he’s still in love with Griselda. Melinda’s ok with it, she’s managed to get tickets to Adam Ant’s concert in Melbourne. After all, ridicule is nothing to be scared of.
